Description

EMD2.2 is a mobile electromagnetic system (push-cart) designed to conduct large area surveys using the TDEM (Time-Domain Electromagnetics) method, an active geophysical technique that maps changes in electromagnetic response below the ground surface to detect metal objects and conductivity variants.

EMD2.2 TDEM Area Survey is a professional wide area electromagnetic survey solution for high precision metal detection and underground characterization, highly useful for exploration, archaeology, and UXO/EOD teams requiring geophysically valid measurements.

EMD2.2 is a Time-Domain Electromagnetics (TDEM) based electromagnetic survey system used to detect metallic objects and underground conductivity variations over a wide area using non-destructive methods.

  • TDEM (EMD2.2 → Active system that emits electromagnetic pulses and can detect ferrous & non-ferrous metals
  • Magnetometer: A passive system that only detects natural magnetic field anomalies and is more sensitive to ferromagnetic materials.
